Rockstar has officially announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date for PS4 and Xbox. While Rockstar was kind to bring GTAV to PC which was and still Is a huge success, It leaves players wondering, Will Red Dead Redemption 2 be on PC?

Luckily for us, the newer consoles (PS4 & Xbox One) have a huge advantage over their predecessors, the architecture. PS3 and Xbox 360 were using custom architectures which made It a harder task to port games to PC such as Red Dead Redemption.

That Is part of why GTAV took over a year to port a PC version. With the newer consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), the architectures are exactly the same as their PC counterparts (Intel & AMD). Porting a game to PC should now In theory be easier and more efficient.

Rockstar has remained relatively quiet on whether or not Red Dead Redemption 2 will come PC. If It does port to PC, don’t be surprised If It takes 6-12 months to show up on Steam and Rockstars own game client. With that said, what could be the Red Dead Redemption 2 System Requirements for PC?

Judging just from the screenshots on Rockstars site of the console version, Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a pretty demanding game on PC. Like GTAV before It, Red Dead Redemption 2 Is going to be a visually stunning game on PC, which Is going to require a lot of horsepower.

No gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been released. As of now, we only have the official trailers to go off of which are just cut scenes. We will update this section when Rockstar releases an official gameplay.
